Stopping off to pick up something to eat tonight. Ask the nice chef if I can have a hamburger. Sure, the guy tells me. Can I have cheese on that? I don't think so, I'm told. What? You have cheese sandwiches on the menu. Just put some cheese on the burger. What am I told? My favorite Dutch expression. "Dat kan niet." (That's not possible.) Manned space flight is possible but apparently a cheeseburger in Holland is not.

Is it possible that the sole reason America is a superpower is that we have outstanding customer service? I'm going to drink my dinner and get back to you about it!
