UPDATE:
How much would you pay to fly AJ out for B2B: $25, $50? Let me know ASAP if you’re in!
***Um, that’s a good question. Let’s see….
The meeting place:
We will meet at the corner of
3rd St. and Howard St. at 8:15 am Sunday to join the “race”. Note this is not the official starting area. Make sure you have a couple cell phone numbers to find people in case you’re late or things don’t go as planned. If you need my number, email me.
Alternatively, feel free to come up the night before and spend the night, or come to our place early Sunday and take the
MUNI light rail to the race with us. We will leave our place no later than 7:45am to catch a train from the Van Ness Station to the Montgomery Station. See
Googe Transit for details and other travel options.
Getting stuff together:
We’ll be fixing up the carts (a milk carton and a breakfast table) starting
Saturday at noon at Courtney’s Place in Noe Valley. Maybe we’ll put some food together (aka order take out from
Eric’s) Saturday if you wanna come over. Oh, and we’ll need to test and mix up batches of “breakfest juice” and “milk”. Give me a call or shoot me an email if you plan on coming over to help out.
Also:
By the way, bring beer and snacks. Do not bring glass bottles or coolers (won’t fit in the cart).
There probably used to be tags for this post. Sorry, it\'s broken.

Breakfast Table really? I thought one of our carts (aka the beer cart) was going to be a giant box of cereal and the “prize” inside was a can of beer.

I’m down with whatever we can start and finish Saturday.

Yeah, what happened to Beerios? I’m fine with a breakfast table, I’m just failing to see how the outrageous amounts of alcohol come into play. Are we giving anything away this year? Amazon has a bunch of little cereal boxes, bought in bulk, that are significantly cheaper than what we spent on Taco Bell and McD raids last year. Costco would prolly have a bunch too. Not necessary, just a thought. Hey, Dad, are you ever going to do B2B with us?

I’m for the giant box of cereal with beer. Unless I’m missing something about the breakfast table?
Pope, you’re on cheap tiny cereal duty. Do they deliver as fast as McMaster?

Had I ordered it yesterday, I could have had it shipped free for Friday delivery via Amazon Prime. Prime doesn’t do Saturday delivery. I didn’t order anything — not sure if people were willing to shell out bucks again this year. After a text from Luke last night, I’d just as soon put my cereal money towards your plane ticket… Besides, we can always go to Costco. I don’t have a membership, but somebody does… right?
